The Pokrovsk direction remains one of the most intense sectors along the entire frontline. If the situation had to be described briefly - calm here is rarer than reliable mobile signal in field conditions. The enemy continues active offensive operations, attempting to break through Ukrainian defenses using artillery, assault groups, and unmanned systems.
In recent weeks, the number of assault attempts has increased. The enemy активно uses small-group tactics combined with constant drone activity - both reconnaissance and strike UAVs. Heavy artillery adds to the “background noise” that has long become a normal part of daily operations rather than an exception.
Under these conditions, units operating in the area carry out missions of increased complexity. The ATEY Battalion is deployed precisely where the situation demands maximum concentration, endurance, and rapid decision-making. There are no “easy shifts” here - every deployment to positions comes with its own challenges and risks.
Personnel of the battalion perform a wide range of missions - from holding positions and conducting surveillance to active combat operations and supporting neighboring units. And while it sometimes feels as if the enemy is “trying to break the work schedule,” Ukrainian servicemen here have long been operating without days off and understand their missions clearly.
Modern combat in this sector is not limited to small arms. It involves constant work with unmanned systems, communications, coordination, and rapid information transfer. Drones serve as the “eyes” of the battlefield, and without them the situation would be far more difficult. That is why providing units with modern equipment is not an additional advantage - it is a necessity.
Despite the difficult conditions, Ukrainian forces continue to hold positions and contain the enemy. This is the result of the daily and systematic work of servicemen carrying out missions under constant pressure.
The ATEY Battalion remains actively involved in some of the most difficult missions in the Pokrovsk direction, operating alongside other units and helping maintain stability in a critically important sector of the frontline.
Support for the battalion directly impacts combat effectiveness.
Drones, transport, communications, and power systems are the kinds of resources that, in reality, determine far more than it may appear from the outside.
